The 1904-05 revival in Wales that literally changed the world has a humble and tiny beginning. It was started by the moving of the Holy Spirit on a young teenage girl, Florrie Evans (19), who simply stood at a church service being held in a small seaside community in West Wales, and stated her public pronouncement “I love Jesus Christ with all of my heart!” She said it with such fervor and such anointing that the whole congregation of young people began to weep, and accepted Christ as a result. Those young people then spread out over the world to take the Gospel.
Millions are still being saved today as fruit from the worldwide revival that began of one tiny spark of conviction and anointing. It’s hard to tell that story without breaking down in tears. Our own ancestors in Wales were some of the first converts of that great revival.
